Weddings in Bratislava: ceremony, reception and accommodation in one place

Venue and ceremony

The BAROK Hotel offers two options for a wedding. In the BAROZA restaurant we host smaller weddings of up to 65 guests. Larger weddings, of up to 100 guests, are held in the hotel's conference room.

A civil ceremony can be held outdoors in the grounds. You choose the wedding arch and the furniture for the ceremony to suit your wishes.

Music can normally play until 22:00, when night-time quiet hours begin. An extension can be requested from the city district authority.

The offer includes a wedding photo shoot in a romantic setting. The hotel lies near the natural side arms of the Danube and floodplain forests, and the Danube embankment is 500 m from the hotel.

What we arrange for you

Our team helps you plan and prepare the whole wedding, including the ceremony, the dinner and the wedding celebration, and draws up the wedding-day schedule. We offer:

• a wedding menu and a selection of drinks
• home-made wedding cakes and pastries
• wedding stationery: place cards for the seating plan and printed wedding menus
• floral decoration, reception decoration, the bridal bouquet, flowers for the bridesmaids and buttonholes (pierka)
• help with choosing a photographer, videographer, DJ and make-up artist
• professional waiting staff
• wedding coordinator services free of charge

The wedding menu is prepared by the kitchen of the BAROZA restaurant, which is part of the hotel complex. The restaurant’s concept is modern Slovak cuisine. The restaurant holds two toques in the Gault&Millau 2025 guide and two forks in the Falstaff Restaurant Guide Slovakia 2026.

Wedding packages and prices

We offer three wedding packages: Klasik, Great Gatsby and Bratislavská mestská svadba (Bratislava city wedding). If you have individual requirements, we will organise a full-service wedding to your wishes.

We prepare an individual, tailored quote on request. In your enquiry, tell us the date, the approximate number of guests and whether you would like the ceremony on site and accommodation for guests.

Accommodation for wedding guests

Guests can stay overnight at the hotel. The hotel has 42 air-conditioned rooms and apartments of 25–60 m², all with a kitchenette, a washing machine and a bathroom. We can accommodate up to 100 wedding guests, subject to an individual quote.

For the wedding, guests get rooms and apartments at a reduced rate. A honeymoon apartment is provided free of charge for the newlyweds.

The Lux and Apartman Superior family rooms sleep 4 guests, and Apartman Deluxe sleeps up to 5 guests. A baby cot is free on request, subject to availability.

Entry to The SPA Barok wellness centre, with its indoor pool, infrared sauna, steam sauna and Finnish sauna, is included in the room price for overnight guests. The spa is open Monday to Friday 18:00–21:00, and on Saturday and Sunday 7:00–13:00 and 18:00–21:00. Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 to 10:00 and costs €10 per person. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 10:00.

Rooms, apartments and prices

Stag and hen parties and smaller celebrations

For a stag or hen party we offer a private boat cruise on the Danube. Cruises are for groups of at least 5 people, cost from €500, depending on the type of boat, and have a minimum hire of 3 hours; full-day cruises are also possible. Boarding is at DYC Marina Jarovce or DYC Marina Čunovo.

For a smaller family celebration there is the BBQ corner by BAROZA in the grounds: a private, reserved space for up to 25 people. The season runs from April to September. Hire costs €1,000 + VAT per day; if the menu is prepared by the BAROZA restaurant, hire is €500 + VAT per day.
